Proverbs 22:8-10

⁸ He who sows iniquity will reap ^(A)sorrow,^[a]
And the rod of his anger will fail.

^9 (B)He who has a ^[b]generous eye will be ^(C)blessed,
For he gives of his bread to the poor.

^10 (D)Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave;
Yes, strife and reproach will cease.
